I found an agreement to race for Vittoria Competizioni in the Italian GT Championship for the final race in Monza.
The free practice went quite well. We found a good balance in the car, and I felt strong for qualifying.
During qualifying on my first fly lap, the right-rear tyre exploded at the end of the main straight at 270 KM/H. As a result, the car spun out of control into the outside barrier quite hard; I went to the hospital. Unfortunately, I was not able to compete in the race because my car could not be prepared.
After two days, I received a call from Super Nova Racing to do the second GP2 Main Series testing day at the Circuito de Catalunya, Barcelona.
