FREE PRATICE
Unfortunately during the free practice I only did two laps because the engine broke down…. Bad luck!!!
So the Villois team contacted the UK straight away to find an engine for Saturdays qualifications.
We were unable to do the free practice second session and we were expecting the engine for 4am of the following day, but the courier arrived at 10am…. So qualification one was off. Thanks to the mechanic’s great work I was able to do three lapses in the second qualification session, reaching sixth place.

RACE 1
Leaving from last positions my team aid Wiser (in the GT championship you race in pairs taking turns in driving the same car) did a good job in passing me the car in the fifth place. I pushed hard from the start reaching very quickly  the team Villois’ second car, which was in second place. I tried to overtake him at once with an external overtake but, when the manuvre was nearly completed I was bumped and sent into spin. Once I was off again the left hand suspension broke so I was forced to retire.

RACE 2
On the contrary of race 1 I did race 2’s first part leaving from sixth place; I passed my team aid the car half way through the race in third place. Wiser did a great job so we were able to reach first place.

I am really happy about this result  and I would like to thank the Villois team for the great work.
