I was invited to the first round of the season of the GT Open’s Championship in the GT3 category from the Villois racing team with a wonderful Aston Martin DBRS9. This was my first experience with this kind of car.

QUALIFICATION 1
The end result was positive because I achieved second place on the grid for the start of race 1.

QUALIFICATION 2
Wiser, my team aid, closed in fourth place.

RACE 1
I had a great start and at the end of lap two I was able to overtake the Lamborghini that was ahead of me. I maintained first place until the pit stop, the change of driver operation wasn’t quick enough and we went out of the pit lane in the second place, ending the race in second place.

RACE 2
The start of race 2 was done by Wiser who did a good job until the change of driver. I continued the race overtaking the second Aston Martin and ending the race once again in second place.

I am satisfied for taking place in this race and I want to thank the Villois team who gave me the chance of racing with a great car this week.
